Is There 'One Trick' To Losing Belly Fat?

I imagine you are intrigued to know the secret to losing belly fat. I know I was for a long time trying to discover the magic pill.

Unfortunately, there answer to this question, is NO. There is not a magic bullet, sorry :( I know I was bummed to hear that too.


But Thank GOD there are several things you can do to lose belly fast fast and easy. 

What can you do?


  1. Start Simple: Try to improve just one thing, this way it will be easier to continue making the changes you need to do. So every time you conquer one thing you can keep going with other thing. Remember to celebrate each accomplish goal. 

2. Sugar, yes please! No, No and NO! The first thing you need to do to lose belly fat is to avoid sugar. Yes, not only sodas, but juices. Sugar increases belly fat, fiber reduces belly fat. 

Replace sugary drinks with water. This is great way to start cutting out sugar from your diet. Once you eliminate sugar from your drinks you can start figuring out how to cut sugar from your food. 

3. Vegetables: Start your largest meal with seasoned vegetables. Vegetables should comprise half your plate, it can also be a vegetable soup. Remember to mix your vegetables, include starchy ones, like potatoes, and nonstarchy ones, like broccoli and leafy greens.

4. Dessert: If you are like me you will need something sweet to end your meals or during the day (I always want chocolate), but re-think your dessert. You can eat a melon, apple or fresh berries. 

I always end my day with a piece of 70% dark chocolate it really help me to stay away from sugary desserts. 


5. Physical Lifestyle: The most important thing you can do to prevent getting belly fat or to get rid of existing belly fat, is to have physical activity. 


Not only can it reduce your risk of cancerstrokediabetes and heart attacks, but studies have shown that physical activity can significantly improve the moods of patients with major depressive disorders.



So just move around, with you hands, move your feet, your head, anything that you can move during the day. Try not to sit too much. 
Here are some tips if you have to sit most of the day for your job:

  • Take a small breaks during the day to walk around.
  • Take a longer walk during your lunch hour.
  • Every time you can, use the stairs instead of the elevator.
  • Stretch at your desk.
  • Try to move around every time you can during the day.

6. Have an active hobby: If you don´t have already one, develop one. Get engaged in some kind of sport, or something you can do alone, yoga classes, etc. make some activity you enjoy so you keep doing it.




7. Don´t rely on sit ups to give you a six pack: sit-ups and crunches can't 

eliminate visceral fat directly. 

With sit-ups or other abdominal exercises, you're toning the abdominal muscles but not burning intra-abdominal fat. When you reduce your total body fat, you'll also be reducing your belly fat.

So if you want to do abdominal exercises, make them part of your fitness routine. Just don't treat them as a substitute for the recommended 150 minutes of weekly moderate-intensity physical activity.


You should develop more muscle, because muscle is more metabolically active than fat, the more muscle you have, the more calories you will burn when you are at rest.
